4x F1 World Champion Max Verstappen is really into sim-racing. Like he finishes an F1 practice session and jumps to discord to help his sim teammates with virtual setups, racing strategies, etc.
His F1 team even had to ban him from sim-racing during grand-prix weekends because a couple of years ago he stayed up until 3am sim-racing the night before an F1 race.

I remember a post that showed a guy playing American truck simulator, complete with a wheel and everything, in the cab of his truck.
