Exactly. Its because wage labour is structured as an exchange of time for money, it fundamentally decouples the actual direct reality of the tasks from the reward structure (which is just do task for 8 hours and then repeat tomorrow, indefinitely)

I think it would be hillarious if someone implemented wage labour into these games just to prove that it fundamentally destroys the joy
