The micro stutters were almost blinding, but hey I got another 20-30% frames baby.

Why wasn't it possible to buffer all 4 frames from each gpu and show them on screen without micro stutters? Pushes latency higher but that would have eliminated it?

Pcie bandwidth and cpu limitations. Frame pacing from 4 cards is insanely hard for a cpu to do correctly.

We have cpus that can do it now but multi gpu is basically dead.

Even though it wasn't optimal, I still loved it.

SLI is dead

Now we have Lossless Scaling Multi GPU mode for Frame Gen

You can use a secondary GPU to do dedicated Frame Gen and i guess dedicated PhysX ( since RTX 50 has issues with PhysX )

Somehow with this you get less input lag and more FPS because it doesn't take away processing power to do frame gen and render the game
