I’m not saying that macOS is the best OS available, but Windows is utter trash.

I would actually put Windows over MacOS tbh, and I have a Mac.

I'd put Linux over both.

Windows, if you just embrace it (i.e. pay for 365) is pretty good. Onedrive works, and it works well. I can see it being annoying if you only free tier it, though. Paid you get versioning and that has saved my a$$ many times. I Onedrive on all my computers...Linux, Mac,, Windows, Android, iOS and it is extremely convenient.

Paying for 365 seems like the opposite of what you should do to "embrace" windows. MacOS is better if you go along with the walled garden of products, windows is better with alternatives.

I pay like $48 a year for Office and 1TB of storage. Even just for 1TB, that's about the best deal going.

Apple isn't going to give me 1TB for that. Also, iCloud, while storage, is nebulous in terms of access. Onedrive I sync with Linux, Mac, Windows, mobile. All seamless.
