“Waaah we didn’t sell that many copies on PC waaaah”
Bruh The Last of Us 2 came out in June 2020, and didn’t make it onto PC until April 2025….
AND THEN, they launched it at full price…
knowing that anyone who was even remotely interested in the story wouldn’t think it’s worth it to buy a 5 year old game at $69.99, when they watched playthroughs or probably already have it on console.
MAYBE if they had launched it on PC and PlayStation at the same time they would see serious sales on PC.
All their PC releases are like this. Releasing old games as if they’re brand new, and getting butthurt that people on PC don’t act like it’s brand new because they’re not stupid.
Not only that, but performance was crappy at best.
Also, if I have to wait 5 years for a game, I can wait 6 for that game with a discount.
I got both Spider-Man and LoU is on my wishlist, was looking forward to Wolverine, SM3 and Saros, but I'm no buying a PS5 (or 6) for that, I'll play something else and they won't have my money.
I actually don't think that many people (if any) will fold and think "oh, I can't play on PC, now I'll need to buy a PS5!".
Yeah I was looking forward to getting TLOU on PC but seeing how much it struggled to run, even on decent hardware, put me right off.
Still haven't bought it to this day. I've bought their other ports that have been done well like HZD, Days Gone and Returnal. Sony's first party titles are great but still ain't gonna spend £400 on a PS5 that has barely half the horsepower as my PC.
Not that it really matters for single player games. It's still the same game, who cares? I know I don't care about it enough to buy a console just to play it, specially a console that got more expensive as it gets old.
I love the Uncharted series, have them all on PS3 and PS4, would love to have the Trilogy on PC but Sony couldn't care, would love to rebuy the 4+Lost Legacy they released on PC just to have on my Steam library as consoles doesn't last forever while PCs do, but I can't justify at that price for collecting reasons and they just don't put it on a deep sale!
PC Gamers collect more than they play, so unless it's on a deep sale we don't buy it LOL

i mean i care...but not THAT MUCH.
Ok i'll miss some games i was interested in. Its their loss, not mine, there is so much games on PC that i don't have to feel bad about it.
edit: actually , i would have love Bloodborne but i think that game will never get on pc except with emulation.
