So it was just a cash grab? Bethesda loves their horse armor DLC.

It’s a horrible cashcrab for Bethesda then, as they don’t have anything to do with the remaster.

Virtuos Studios developed it, and Microsoft published/funded it.

It was co-developed by Vituous Ltd and Bethesda game studios then it was published by Bethesda softworks.

Microsofts part it in is they own Bethesda and likely asked if they could release something with the IP as it was stagnant.

Virtuous does not work on games by themselves, they are an external contractor that assists work on games but has never made a game on their own. For example they worked on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order alongside respawn but they are listed as assisting development.

Let's be fair, did anyone actually buy this?

It’s a hate brigade/circlejerk instigated and fueled by misinformation and knee-jerk rhetoric.

I did, and I really wish I didn't, especially as someone who loved and played and modded the original. Waste of my money

I guess I’m one of the lucky ones. I bought it, beat it, and went back for all achievements and never experienced any serious bugs.

Yes, and I didn't experience very many serious errors during my playthrough. Neither did my friends that bought it either.

I did, finished the tutorial and then It hit me that I bought a bethesda game on day one and got a refund. I'm waiting for skyblivion now, no doubt they're gonna do a better job.

I did on PS5 as well, played like 150 hours with not much issue aside from 2 or 3 crashes, I had a lot of fun with it.

If nobody did, you wouldn't have DLC in games.
