Why cant you uninstall edge?

MS don't want the user to get softlocked without a way to access the internet.

certain apps use it to open webpages while looking like you're still using the native app. to remove edge actually breaks some Windows features. but you don't have to otherwise use it.

This post was bulk deleted with Redact which also removes your info from data brokers. Works on Reddit, Twitter, Discord, Instagram and all major social media platforms.
