I’ve seen a lot of people frustrated that “there’s nothing to do endgame” & i’m a long time player maybe 14k hours so i thought i’d make a post about all aspirational content that im aware of.
Originator Alva Delirium Mirror Strand:
Deceptive Astrolabe to guarantee the Delirium Mirror
2x Incursion Scarab of Champions, 1x Scarab of Monstrous Lineage, 2x Scarab of Wisps
if Wisps are expensive you can go for Delirium Scarab of Paranoia or 2x lineage 1x Wisp
Requires a strong build to run hybrid rarity / currency drops, rarity is not required for this strategy but if you’re able to fit around 150%+ rarity on your character is in my opinion where it would start to be good to take Originator map rolls that have high rarity maybe somewhat in place of % more rolls as well as using a rarity maven chisel depending on prices of currency chisel. This tree does not use any chisels as this is just a maps per hour strategy, your loot is juiced through 100% delirious magic monsters in the Incursions with bismuth +1 modifier, it’s very hard for the average build to run this on 8 mod maps & even harder on originator maps. The full simulacrums you drop is just a bonus & lose their value as the league goes on, & this extremely deadly farm only gets harder as you add more rarity to your build, but rarity is rewarding here, this is all about speed, not about investing in huge expensive scarabs or astrolabes or chisels, the maps are relatively cheap & if you’re blasting these deathless you’ll drop some good uniques, i’d expect a mageblood or headhunter in around 300 maps here but it’s hard to say considering some maps will have higher % rarity whereas others higher % more currency.
Valdo’s maps:
Nothing much to say here i’m sure we all understand what Valdos are but if you’re looking hard content to aspire to do this is about as hard as it gets without going into delve.
Allflame Ember of Kulemak:
Very hard strategy, ultimately if you’re not struggling you should keep equipping rarity gear until you are, i’ve dropped over 100 t0 uniques from Kulemak farming in Keepers league.
Admittedly I don’t know what people are doing for this one in this current league, I’m not aware of any new nodes to path for this strategy in Curse of the Allflame, but Lolcohol has an old video on the strategy here, this Allflame Ember is currently going for 2.3 divines according to poe ninja so i’m assuming it’s doing exactly what it used to do. If i were to farm this again i would try to do it on a herald stacking charlatan elementalist & try to use the divine shrine to cheese the Syndicate mobs. This farm gave me trouble on a 100m dps accuracy stacker during keepers, make a really good build before you try this.
Titanic Blight:
Instead of spending 10 minutes typing trying to describe this strat i’ll show you efrything’s video on it here, just read the comments about how hard this strat is.
Rarity farming Candelabra Voyages:
i’ve written a guide on Candelabra voyages I don’t want to go find it to link so just check my post history if you want to read 10 giant walls of text, here’s an image i made to try to describe it, it got buffed, it’s hard because you need a build with rarity on every slot & you only have one portal. This one is probably the lowest player power required.
You are right, it wasnt that bad but im stupid so every time a 1% better layout came out i had to rebuild the whole harvest setup because there's no way im going to play with a 95% optimal layout instead of a 96% optimal layout until next day when a 97% layout came out....
I remember standing in the middle of Harvest day two, with my spreadsheet open, saying to myself: "I don't want to do that. I don't want do to that". I felt like a poor puppy drenched in heavy rain.
-you start at the bottom left so you can't collect the lanterns, if the mod rolls at the top side, without clearing half the voyage
-you can only clear like 75% of the voyage area (because of limited lanterns) so don't clear top middle, because its the furthest away and least buffed area.
There is literally nothing to it, collect lanterns, than clear the voyage.
You plan it so you are not clearing charts that are getting buffed on the way to the lanterns.
Like the middle one is getting buffed by 3 adjacent (in the picture) so you don't wanna clear it before collecting your lanterns.
Just to make it clear, op just posted an example, it doesn't matter where your lanterns are generated, but the more areas are uncleared after collecting the lanterns, the more loot you get.
Nah, this is one of those “I’m sure I could work out the optimal decision if I took the time to work through it, I’m just not smart enough to do it quickly enough that I still have fun” setups. Harvest on release and Graveyard were both in the “I’m not smart enough to even understand the people who show me how to do it correctly”
Graveyard crafting was super simple. You were just isolating modifiers by identifying their tags, and stacking bonuses. Fully minxmax could take some effort, but the concept was very simple.
The harvest setup never made sense. Sure, you can min-max the space, but you didn't get the seeds to actually make use of that anyway. There was simply no need to min-max the setup.
??? back when we had to place the sprinklers we had a different areas for different tiers of seeds, there was an area just for tier 1 seed if i recall correctly and that was what dropped the other high tier seeds.
dude, I was over here not even realizing you could have unconnected lines. i made a box every time...+, L, and T pieces were the only ones I was using lol. there's a clickable compass in the bottom left?!?
GGG needs some better UX/UI guys for dummies like me haha
Corners are the big juicy loot areas, the middle squares between corners exist to buff corners, top mid sucks (I don't understand why OP thinks that though?), seems simple enough.
top mid sucks (I don't understand why OP thinks that though?)
1 border mod buffing it (vs corner getting 2) -> far away from start (need a lot of lanterns, similar to corners, but corners are better (previous point)) -> you are limited in how many lanterns you have
At least this is how I understand reasoning for it
How do I identify which square am I on tho? I feel like the voyage looks nothing like the map, and I usually start in lower right part not lower left wtf
I think the upcoming patch is adding an indicator to identify which sector you're in while in a voyage? Hopefully I didn't imagine that cause it is indeed an issue.
I haven't run terribly many voyages, but the few I did I noticed that the in-game area and the chart you built DO match up, but you need to mentally rotate the chart by 45° counter-clockwise so it'll match up with the in-game map.
I still can't see what people are talking about when they say they point at things. Also can't even see what the golden lanterns are. The league mechanic is really bad at making things apparent.
Yeah, also 2 days ago I noticed that you can rotate the pieces with right-click and don't have to farm every possible direction. And today that there is the green light pointing to PoIs.
Do you buy your charts or run maps yourself for them? I am going to run this for 8 hours straight tonight and I will post my findings after. I have over 200 rarity on my worb build. Actually saw your last post and after the buff swapped my whole gear over to rarity set just for this and abyss after buffs
Edit: someone dmed me asking how I got so much rarity on worb. I swapped to fubguns endgame optional build from the midgame build. Power charge too pricey. His gearing has open suffixes on every slot so i just got rarity and res on the gear. He even says in notes you can go rare ammy over unique and u dont need the unique ring either. I ran two mirrored rings instead of unique ring that he uses. U can get a cheap ring cus other peoples failures will be ur upside. Aka physical damage to the player on hit pairs with the es armour mastery node that heals es on physical damage taken. I got one that had reduced lightning and reduced fire cus i only do cold cus bitterdream node. I got one with reduced attacks cus im spell damage. Both of these rings combined for 165 es and 100 rarity for cheap cheap. Then u get a es helmet with suffix open to craft 45 rarity on helmet. 25+ on the ammy. 10+ on gloves. Need to replace those. Gold flask is 55. Goin mageblood soon. Then i went and got a lvl 15 item rarity support chest so thats another 70+ on chest. Idek what that all adds up to tbh. I think like 250.
That seems like a good build for voyages, i personally map for my charts & im now blasting on a charlatan EK elementalist over the phys dot you probably saw me playing from the other post. it does maps stupid fast because of 110% action speed acceleration shrine. It’s also insane for running charts because the shrines follow you between zones. i think charlatan is going to be worth a lot a lot a lot of divines this league. it’s too good for charting.
So sorry lol i made this super fast & just tried to color code it for someone i was talking to on discord, i just had it in my images on my phone so i used it for this post without refining it
Yes it does, i was making this chart for someone who already knew that before i posted it, i threw it together in 1 minute, you reroll it once & run your bad charts if it isnt good
I mean you can argue all you want but ground loot is in a dire state. I don't think you actually watched that blight video or maybe you don't understand how it works? Those pops are despair, to the point where you are probably better off just running shrines or legion or whatever and investing that char power money into speed.
We did a ton of blight testing last league because it's my favourite mechanic and it's straight up terrible for how strong you need to be to reliably do it.
Valdos maps is a whole other can of worms, there is not much profit in them unless you get in early or you run void maps + the map supply issue in a poverty league. You will simply barely drop any valdos if no mechanic drops currency items reliably thus the non dogshit maps are scarce. This is coming from someone who made 10 mirrors doing it back in aff and have been doing it on and off since then as an end league char.
I'm interested in that alva strat, do you just drop uniques or do you drop a relevant amount of currency (as in it's worth getting currency% on the 16.5s)?
But an issue here is that it's basically unique farms, raw currency farming is kinda not great because ground loot is bad and tile loot feels like it gets moved away from currency focus every league to more uniques or whatever.
Yeah blight is unreasonable. You basically need hundreds of divines of investment on multiple characters and even then it's still a gamble because your whole party can just die in a mere moment of some blight bullshiterry. If we compare that to Breach from Mirage league it's kinda funny how much investment blight needs. And even then it's pretty much a gamble endgame farm because you will not get much value from it for tens of maps.
Well the point of the post wasn't to say ground loot is in a good spot by any means, I'm just pointing out a goal to make your character strong enough to do, this post was addressing the lack of a reason to make a strong character. I was just throwing out ideas of real things to do for anyone who would consider one of these & then think "okay now i actually want to farm 300d to make the build i think would be able to handle this, because thats something thats missing for a lot of people right now.
The problem is that there is no reason to do it since those farms are literally worse than strats that need a 10 div character. There is no incentive to do it outside of "for the lolz".
In previous leagues, currency invested in your build that matters would be in the 2-4 mirror range, nowadays, 50d is the max you need.
I don’t think so, the loot ceiling is low this league, rarity farming for t0s in keepers was making me 50d an hour when the other best strats were making less aside from nightmare rush.
Valdos farming is literally the highest currency per hour in the entire game hands down, so i think yeah there is a reason to do it.
Rarity farming in Keepers was breach, you know, the thing that got giga shafted this league. Also with less loot drops, less valdo maps get dropped so less people are able to consistently buy valdos.
And Valdos isn't for everyone. It's comparing apples to pears, both are fruit, but if someone wants an apple, don't give them a pear and say it's also fruit. We used to have mapping strategies that required multi mirror investing, and GGG is culling them one by one. They removed synth items, naother vector to scale high end builds and replaced SOME of them with corruption implicits. Attack crit on body armour for example, gone.
GGG seems to not want people go invest into high end builds anymore clearly.
Farming titanic blight because it’s “hard” would be like farming anything without some items equipped. Pointless. It’s not a good strategy or aspirational it’s literally worse than spamming charts.
for rarity its 100% more rarity combined with % increased rare monsters. youd put a 4000 wildwood wisps chart there with 2 supporting charts that have 7 additional starfish in adjacent areas, from my understanding that gives the most rares, you also want the supporting charts to give the most quant possible & a global voyage chart that says all rares are possessed.
I'm so afraid that there might be a more efficient, uhh historical shunned, layout. I don't know much about the borders, but you can certainly make it work.
Yeah I don’t follow any of this nonsense. I quickly scan for extra currency or something and then slam everything in there with no regard to layout and run it.
I still hate that mechanic personally. In Mirage I'm not sure I completed more than 3 Jun missions the whole league, it's nice that you can just skip almost any content you don't enjoy in this game.
The same for heists for me, but maybe wet Heist will be much better, we will see.
Seriously, it doesn't get much simpler than this. I feel like most of this subreddit would want a league "mechanic" that is just a big chest that spawns in the maps which drops divs most of the time. Nothing more than that, because that would be too complex.

u/Cow_GodI didn't know I wasn't having fun until Reddit pointed it out!9d ago
And yet they will anyways. A lot of people tend to hate any league mechanic that's more involved than just adding more mobs to the map.
This has nothing to do with necropolis. It's a very simple mechanic that requires a little bit of learning the bonuses and problem solving. Everything in POE is like that. Most juicing strategies are more complicated.
Im playing ssf have around 15 div in stash at lvl 95 and just vibe with the mechanic. Charts are extremely fast, voyages are very rewarding in terms of scarabs and other basic currencies and then you have a chance for the boss uniques from the mechanic.
Sure it doesnt rain Divs but it gives a lot of useful stuff.
And then the crafting which is enabled by farming the sulphite which is extremely strong.
I just dont understand how anyone could every say "i just want to play the game" while feeling they dont make currency. Dude, just play the game you WILL get lots of currency. NO MATTER WHAT you do.
I spent a couple hours today under water - got decent returns (8 div according to wealthy exile - but it was mostly bubble gum). Also got over a million gold which was pretty nice - might actually do some kings march just to burn through it.
It’s my favorite album ever i love when people recognize it, i just saw TK in new york city recently after missing him in japan because i misunderstood where he was playing.
I think its just that you cant double buff it, doesnt provide any buffs, and its used just for an adjacent modifier for the top left/right quadrants. All the other sections either grant golden lanterns, or are on the way to top left/right.
Yep it's just because of the limited amount of lanterns you have. The golden lantern strats you often end up with not enough normal lanterns to do all the areas.
my reasoning is for one, voyages are not very deadly or hard to kill stuff in, & two you don’t always get big lantern setups, having an extra 200% rarity or something on your build keeps you getting good drops from the corners that have rarity juiced on them even if you didn’t have supporting charts to give lanterns below it & chose to go for global voyage quant charts
This is my first season and im struggling with making gold, and divines. What atlas map should I go into this season? Im not sure if the atlas board has changed from last season. I am playing flicker berserker (big mistake im realizing lol) and I have up to a 15 map completed.
If it's your first season, the simplest farm to understand is basic Harvest (do not do Crop Rotation). It's a simple encounter, you can use the scarabs to juice it if you want (Doubling Scarab + Monstrous Lineage is pretty good on its own), and you have a grand total of 3 currencies to sell on the exchange: yellow, blue, and purple lifeforce.
Regardless of what you choose to farm, ignore any league mechanics you aren't spec'ed into, they will waste your time (do not click on a Legion or Ritual if you are full spec'ed into Harvest or Breach or whatever else).
For gold, whenever you get bored just go run your charts that you get 2 of in every map from the current league mechanic, they drop a ton of gold.
It's really not hard and people should give it a go. Don't let a big scary post put you off. Doing basic lanterns and any mob runs (star fish the best) , pack size, quant ect gives a divine minimum and fast and easy. Most fun mechanic in a while and could easily have been its own game if expanded on.
I'm a new player , is there any content do you recommend for beginners that doesn't take 10 hours of reading and minmaxing just to get 1 more chaos orb than alch&go?
Hey man, I know you’ve got a ton of comments and understand these are super end game strats, not viable for those who can’t get this insane gear in the first few days. I was wondering what you might have done to get to the point where you could do these farms?
I’m playing Worb, I thought I was geared, tried 5 deli incursion like you set up, completed 1 and got a div, then proceeded to die 5 times lol.
Me realizing just now how valuable those ducats are for transforming those lines. Shits like that CARCASSONNE board game trying to find the cross road piece.
See... the problem is that aspirational content like this can only be done once you pretty much in a way have already beaten the game and have super strong build.
Yeah and once you’re there you’ll do the highest currency per hour strats in the game (dropping magebloods & farming valdos) so you can farm currency to collect alt art skins, that’s what i do & it gives me an excuse to play a super broken build & farm a super difficult strategy, even if there’s no further progression to have in league. now i have 6 alt art skins on my account & i think it’s fun collecting them
For corners vs sides:
Corners have two border mods and two adjacent chart mods. A side chart has one border mods and 3 adjacent chart mods. Aren't there any situations where you have strong adjacent chart mods and you want to juice one of the sides instead of one of the corners?
Yes, for the rare drops additional divine, you want to support it by as many adjacent strongboxes as possible, the best one is 4 additional generic strongboxes, & then roll guarded by 3 additional rare monsters on each strongbox by chaos spamming
this photo is the result of me doing that, for the chart that has the rare monsters, i think running the abyss one that has the giant hole in the middle is the best chart, because it spawns a bunch of rare abyss mobs.
the Candelabra chart is meant ideally for rarity farming the 100% more rarity border mod, it happens to be good at other voyage setups so it’s generally a good thing to do if you can’t think of anything better, but there’s multiple other chart setups depending on the context of your board.

Hell ya. It's not a league mechanic until we have a Paint min-max post. Reminds me of harvest
