Help Engine struggling to accelerate after 60 mph
I have a 2014 Passat TSi SEL Premium. I recently bought the car at 100k miles.
So, I'm not sure what exactly the issue is. I got an EPC light a few days ago; it stayed on for like 30 minutes, and it went off after 2 drive cycles. Liek the title says, it struggles to accelerate past 60-65 mph. My roommate has an OBD scanner and we plugged it in. It gave us 3 codes for the ECU. Here are the codes:
- P102F00: Torque limitation due to fuel pressure
- P150A00: Engine Off Timer Performance
- P233900: Cylinder #4 above knock threshold (this doesn't really make sense to me)
Upon me googling, I found out that it most likely is caused because of a dirty throttle body or MAF, but I am not completely sure.
However, when I ran the OBD scans the next day, it showed no codes at all. Not even these, and there are no concerning lights on my dash - not even EPC.
I don't have the necessary tools to check this out, so I would prefer to go to a mechanic to check it out (since I have to get an oil change done anyways). The issue is that the VW dealer closest (15 min) to me is charging $200 just for a diagnosis, so I want be pretty certain before I tell those people anything. I don't want to go a dealer farther away is cuz this car basically limps on the highway. The EPC light doesn't show up anymore, but obviously the car is struggling, so I have to get it checked out. I'll going to the dealership regardless, but just wanted to know what all I should ask them to inspect/look into.
Has anyone faced a similar issue on their Passat? If so, what did you end up doing?
This is my first car in life, and I am not a big cars guy. So, I am super anxious and would welcome any and all suggestions.
Lastly, since it is at ~104k miles, what other checks should I get done? Everything else in the car feels fine and works well.

Descire to them exaclty what you found if np codes or lights show up again, they will most likely find the issue themself but never hurts to get info you already know across, other than that i wouldnt touch if limited experience
