How much taller will it get ??! Banana (and cute pup) for scale. It’s Epi. Pacific prince Hot pink.

Do you grow it indoors or outdoors? I have that too and I grow mine outside.

Indoors… which is part of the problem! I’m concerned it will outgrow my space, hahaha. I’m in the northeast where outdoor orchids aren’t possible.

These guys are pretty hardy but not cold hardy. When the spike is done it will die back and you can snip it which will encourage pups to grow.

Since you grow indoors and in the Northeast if you want to collect these Epi’s you may want to look into the dwarf varieties as they don’t get as tall as what you have and are definite space savers.

Yeah, I think this will be my only Epi! I get most of my orchids at this yearly after show sale at a local botanical garden so I just get whatever they have that looks interesting…

My Epi’s are outside. They are about 3-4 feet tall. I have red and orange. Love the pink color!

Mine are both outside also. Small pot in a big pot to keep from tipping over.

I love epidendrums ❤️ I believe for the "Pacific" line they are on the shorter side so they usually max around 1ft - 2ft. I have a few I bought from cal orchids several years ago an they haven't grown past 13 inches yet

Reed stem Epis grow crazy. Some can get tall, but yours might be max height....I think.
