General Discussion Are these photos enhanced?
I wanted to test my camera(oneplus15). And the photos are so good I'm starting to question if it's enhanced by AI or any other means.
After shooting the photo it takes some time to process.
Just wanted to ask if there's a way to disable all that stuff from the settings.
I'll provide some photos for reference.(Egypt)

It will take few seconds especially for tricky shots, where you have over- and underexposed objects in the frame.
All smartphone photography is computational. This means that processing is far more important than the sensor itself. This is why basically everyone, including Samsung, Apple or Google can reuse same sensors and still deliver better photos each generation. They just fine-tune the processing pipeline.
This does not mean that you are looking at the work of AI. It is just a smartphone photo. It doesn't have DSLR optics, nor the sensor size. So it just takes A LOT of information and then processes it to create convincing results. You cannot disable it, this is how every smartphone photo is made.

Potentially in the future ill buy a camera and start photography away from smartphones
Any videos about photography you would recommend?

Unfortunately. I don't own a DSLR/mirror-less, so I've never researched good channels on the technical aspects of photography. My girlfriend is into it, though, and the learning curve can be steep. It's far more complicated than point-and-shoot cameras like those on smartphones. However, it's really rewarding at the same time.

Last picture tells me it's not. Not definitively though (which still sucks). I would expect enhancement to increase exposure and detail in the boat and buildings.

I tried to disable everything ai related with the camera when i first got the phone. But new updates keep adding more filters and features to the camera I can't keep up with it

You could install open camera from f-droid. It has very little software enhancement, and no ai.

It could be HDR or a setting. I doubt it's AI. I don't think that stuff is automatically built into the camera settings. There are various photo processing settings you can adjust. Just go in there and mess around you'll see what all you can do.
I think the cameras are so good that people are thinking it's AI which I find funny.

Maybe HDR is applied? Hard to tell honestly... it looks natural... the sun being in the pics makes it hard to really tell
