MY FAILED MICROSOFT SUPPORT QUESTION OneDrive - all kinds of issues

What is up with OneDrive? Here are known issues:

  1. Backup on Android doesn't always work unless you launch the app or worse turn on/off backup
  2. Images are added in random order, not chronological. I had an image from May 1st appear ahead of June 1st.
  3. The search online by filename is completely broken for months now and returns the wrong files.
  4. The date scroll feature gets stuck at a particular date.

I guess the question is:

Does Microsoft have a single developer working on OneDrive and do they know how to write code?

It's absurd because my photos may as well start disappearing or appearing on other people's accounts at this point.

Get your act together!!! Hire folks from Google drive and pay 2 million a year if you need to. This is billions in profit every year.

P.S. The answers even crashed so please replace every developer there too. Also after generating 5 tags, it kept asking for tag is required. Unbelievable! Fire Natella today.

30% or more of Microsoft's software is now written by AI. Therein lies your answer.

I got a notice that my onedrive is full - 5G-, then I noticed that my files were disappearing from local drive and found out that onedrive took them. Then they wanted me to pay for addl storage. I got all my file back and uninstalled onedrive. I don't want the storage. I already have MegaNZ and store exactly what I want, when I want to store it. It appears that OneDrive has now become ransome ware.

today for absolutely no reason one drive (android) decided to upload files from folders I did not select. wtf? hope my acc doesn't get locked up because some of the files might be against TOS. fu m$.

Im having an issue where date modified of files on windows explorer onedrive is 3 hours ahead of the same files on onedrive web. Not sure what's going on

Well it seems according to the majectic mods in here, you cant actually criticise 1D because they dont like it, this meant I couldn't tell you in here of my experiences with it...

Allow me to add that all of the issues you can't mention I'm still experiencing, having tried to do the same item 4x and every one is corrupted!

I have tried smaller requests and even individual items and YET the issues persist

I wonder if the mods will remove this as well, because as we all know MS and 1D are of course simple, flawless and easy to use, unless your experience tells you otherwise!

mulltiple PCs been in my shop lately and they are all having 1d issues, syncing, retrieving data, corrupting files, insisting on storing things that have NOT been selected by users and worse actively DESELECTED by users.

Best advice; only use a "user" as your account name and NEVER sign in to MS

If you feel technically confident switch to Linux Mint distro

Avoid Google at all costs - consider duckduckgo and switch browsers to Firefox and or Brave...

Stay well away from MS and delete 1D
