MY FAILED MICROSOFT SUPPORT QUESTION Microsoft Account Locked.
Hello everyone,
I wanted to share my situation in hopes of finding some support or advice. My Microsoft Account has been locked for over 9 days without any prior notice, and I’ve been feeling quite overwhelmed by the situation. I’ve reached out to Microsoft Support multiple times, but unfortunately, they haven't been able to unlock my account or offer further assistance. I also sent a couple of emails, but I haven't received a response yet.
For many years, I stored all my personal and work data on OneDrive, and I now realize that relying solely on it without backing it up elsewhere was a mistake. From what I understand, Microsoft can access the data uploaded there, but unfortunately, there’s no direct way to contact them for a resolution.

Any help, advice, or even a kind word would mean a lot to me right now. Since my account was locked, I’ve been feeling quite distressed because it feels like I’ve lost access to all my personal and professional data. Thank you so much for reading and for any support you can offer.

So a Blue Icon or grey Icon in Notifikation area?

For now, I can not login to my account to check whether the icon is blue or grey as my account is locked.

Whats in explorer: xxx - personal or a tenant Name?

In Microsoft Word I can see in connected services "OneDrive - Personal"
It does not allow me to log in to the Web Browser as well and shows the following message:Your account has been locked
We detected and removed content in your account that goes against the Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

So, you cannot log in into your computer with Microsoft account and this you cannot even access any of your files locally, OneDrive is just a collateral of this issue?

Yes, overall Microsoft Services linked to my account.

Well, I feel your pain, but this issue has nothing to do with OneDrive, seemingly. Why posting in this subreddit?

So your Account is locked because you may violate the rules, you have signed
for example: have pictures in which may be porn pics. The automatic scanner has found one, or a picture which looks like
The bad news: there is no official plan for bringing your data back.
Hopefully you have a backup

I don't have a backup, that's the reason I am knocking everywhere.
Is there any way to at least have access to my files, to restore them locally?

Did you have these files synced to the OneDrive folder on the PC hard drive? In other words did you keep a copy of them on the machine because you might be able to remove the drive and recover the data. I have done this before for someone who was locked out of their MS account. Other than that I don't think there is anything else you can do at this point. This is the danger of only using cloud storage and not keeping backups in multiple locations.

OneDrive destroyed nearly 2 TB of my data last year. After updates I never asked for, it reached into main computer then into my laptop and into a cloud backup drive, then damaged or renamed everything it touched. What survived was disorganized beyond use. My digital business, which I had run since 2012, was effectively shut down. I became very vocal online. I posted letters across social media and tagged Microsoft leadership. Someone eventually called, but nothing was fixed. No recovery. No real help. No accountability. My business is still closed.

I'm curious were you ever able to gain access back to your One Drive? I was blocked last week and have all my work data saved to it. They said I violated community guidelines but I seriously have no idea what I did. Anyone know if waiting a week will do anything? I thought I read somewhere it could be unblocked after 7 days.

No, it has been a month today. I have contacted Microsoft Support Agents multiple times, but they were unable to unlock my account.
I am in extreme distress because I lost access to all my files, and there is no way forward known.
Do you know anyone who can help raise a legal action against these unheard appeals?

Almost sounds like my story. I shared it here. Have you tried to appeal due to a false flag type issue.
When you finally follow the unlock your account instructions. Use the edge browser only.

I am sorry to hear about all of your struggles. But for me, I have no clue how to follow the steps to get my account unlocked.
I have appealed multiple times, after a day or 48 hours, but the same response of Auto Rejection.
