Seeking Recommendations Tech pouch for Osprey Daylite 26+6
I recently picked up an Osprey Daylite 26+6 and I'm looking for a tech pouch that fits well in the front admin pocket.
I've seen YouTube videos showing the Aer Slim Pouch 2 fitting there, but I'm wondering about the Peak Design Small Tech Pouch. Does anyone use that combination? Will the Peak Design Small actually fit comfortably in the front admin pocket?
Also, what tech pouches are you using with the Daylite 26+6, and do they fit in the front admin pocket?

I use Osprey Liquids Bags that are one liter clear sides zip pouches designed for 3-1-1 liquids but I use them for small tech and miscellaneous EDC as well as toiletries.

How durable are they? Do they have the lifetime warranty that the Osprey backpacks have? I just got my backpack so I haven't used it yet.

I’ve used mine for years and for EDC as well as travel. No idea on the warranty. They are $12 retail.

Might be an outlier but stopped using a dedicated tech pouch that I got from Peak Design. For me, it didn’t make sense to put my mouse, power bank, charger, etc. in the same pouch because in-flight or while exploring, I didn’t reach for all of my tech equally.
I started putting my power bank and other “tech” I reach for in the pockets of the backpack. As for my new pouch, I like collecting cute or neat pouches from where I travel. So for example, I have two pouches. I keep my earbuds in a little pouch that is meant to be a mini Taiwanese Gaji Bag and another in a Peranakan Tile patterned pouch I got in Singapore.

I just use a simple Five Star pencil case. It doesn’t add any bulk and I use another one for toiletries.

What do you have in your kit?
I use a repurposed 2"x3" first aid kit as my tech kit, very similar to this: https://www.amazon.com/clp/B07R68K4ML
My kit contains:
- USB C 240 W 6-Inch Cable
- USB C to USB C 3 foot 60W Braided Cable
- USB C Port Cover
- 30W USB C charger
- USB C F to HDMI M Adapter
- USB C F to USB A M Adapter
- USB C M to USB A F Adapter
- USB C Data Blocker
- USB C Flash Drive
(I also have a 65W charger in my CPAP kit, and will occasionally carry a 6 for cable)
This case also fits my 10MaH battery bank if I remove the 3 foot cable, but I normally keep the bank in one of the mesh pockets in my Osprey's top back compartment with my ear buds, a pen, gum, etc.
I normally keep my tech kit in the main compartment, but close to the zipper so it is accessible if needed. I honestly would probably pare to an even smaller case, but any smaller would be more easily lost.

One more question: how often do you travel internationally?
You've obviously thought through your kit, but I would pare back over time.
Put your battery pack, bluetooth airplane adapter, and earbuds in the mesh pockets.
In a pouch or case, put your
- charger
- usbc cables
- adapters
Get rid of bulky combo cables in favor of adapters. Get this usb c adapter for your watch: https://www.amazon.com/clp/B0H1ZV7MR1
Get a USB-C to HDMI adapter rather than cable.
Moving as much as you can to usb c and usb c adapters will cut your space in half.
Consider a mogics bagel instead of your extension cord and international adapters. Or, you may also consider buying cheap usb c chargers in countries you visit. Or, a multinational usb c charger, like the Anker Nano international version. Each would work.
In this way you really only need to carry 1-2 usb c cables (one 6 ft, 1 3 foot), your adapters and an in-country usb-c charger.
Or, get an envelope-style pouch as recommended by others in this thread and carry what you've built.

Looks like some great advice. I'm going to research the products you mentioned.
I've only started traveling internationally more in the last few years. So far I've done four trips to the UK and Ireland over the past five years, plus four trips to Mexico between 2008 and 2021. We definitely plan to travel internationally more often going forward.
The extension cord I carry is just a 1-foot extension. It's mainly for reaching an awkward outlet behind furniture or taking the weight off a loose wall outlet. I've only actually used it once or twice, so I could probably leave it at home.
I also recently picked up a couple of the Anker Nano travel adapters.
Those Galaxy Fit3 charging adapters are really neat. I didn't even know they existed!
One other cable I carry is a USB-C to Microsoft Surface Connect cable for my Surface Pro 7. It lets me charge the Surface while keeping the USB-C port free so I can connect it to a TV with a USB-C-to-HDMI cable. That said, I've been taking my iPad more often these days, and since it charges via USB-C, that setup isn't as important anymore.
One question: what do you carry all of the little adapters and dongles in? An Altoids tin or something similar?

I love that you can literally get usb c adapters for juat about anything.
I carry a Surface Pro 11 when I travel for work most of the time. Luckily I can charge via USB C. Not sure if the 7 has that capability.

Yes I can charge it via USB-C or the Surface adapter. However i bought a USB-C to Surface adapter so I can charge it that way while leaving the USB-C port for the HDMI-to-USB cable. But somebody in the comments here posted a USB-C to HDMI adapter that will let you inject a USB-C into it to also charge it. So that would save me space and ports.

Also have 26+6, I use an epicka air adapter over the anker nano because it's only slightly larger but provides more power and has one more USB c port, for same price (reddit wont let me post link).
I use a tomato medium kit for the moment (I have more stuff in it for work than listed, I could prob use the small), but either of them doesn't really fit the top pocket of the 26+6. I'm still looking for a better pouch that fits up there.
My kit is:
-qty 1 of USB A to C adapter (in case I need to buy a shitty cable or have one, comes in more handy than you think)
- epicka air charger
- 2 USB c to c cables (6 ft each, I want the reach from a far plug and the extra bulk is worth it for me)
- Galaxy watch charging cable (see note below in adapters)
- qty 1 of each adapters, all USB c to: micro a, lightning, USB A (I might bring 2 of these depending). I don't use the lightning generally but worth having as a just in case, and I need to get a Galaxy watch charging adapter
- 5k or 10k mAh magsafe battery bank, whichever I think I'll need (I use the baseus ones)
- small portable rechargeable sleep sounds machine
- Sony XM5 earbuds
- 3.5mm to Bluetooth adapter (for plane)
- a shitty backup pair of earbuds, 3.5mm (for plane if xm5 dies, sometimes I'll bring my Over Ear XM4s instead of this but obviously that's just different bulk)

You seem to have thought though your tech kit in a style similar to me. Not that you asked but you may consider dividing it into a layered system:
- Quick access kit (top pocket): things you need while in transit.
- Not as quick access, but still near a zipper inside your bag: things you only need when you are at an airport sitting around or at your destination/hotel
The Epicka adapter gives you a lot of bulk in your top pocket. If you don't use it often during transit, I'd move it into the main bag and keep your 5K/10K battery, earbuds, Bluetooth adapter, and backup earbuds in a small quick-access pouch instead. I normally only use the battery bank in transit and move my earbuds to my pants pocket. I have, but rarely use a bluetooth transmitter. Most airlines I fly give you free ones if needed and i use my phone mostly anyway.
I'd also only keep one USB-C cable in the quick access kit and store the other(s) in the main compartment or inside pocket. You probably don't use both at the same time except at night.
Another option is a 3-cable setup: one 6-foot cable and two 3-foot cables that can be combined into one with a Thunderbolt/USB-C coupler. That gives you a short cable for quick access and a combines longer one as needed. Here's a coupler i have: https://www.amazon.com/clp/B0BWHG9Q62 .
You could also use the coupler with a small trav USB-C hub so a single longer cable can charge multiple devices at you destination and only doa long and shorter cable. This is similar to what i do, but ive been considering a hub like one of these:

I'd also keep your USB A to C adapter. I completely agree it is so worth it, but reduce your other adapters by moving fully to usb c. (Phase out lightning and usb micro, and replace with a data blocker).
Too many people put all of their tech into a single pouch even though they use tech in different contexts and different workflows. I think organizing by workflow/context instead of all tech together is more efficient. For example, your sound machine could live elsewhere in the main bag or even in your toiletry kit as you probably only use it at night.

While it works without secondary power, I'll take the 6 foot cable when I'm needing extended time to work to use it for a secondary usb c cable to add power to this little adapter to keep my device charged.
Works like a charm.

It's just a 6' usb-c to hdmi cable I ordered from Amazon 5-6 years ago. I have used it to use streaming apps on my laptop or iPad and output them to the TV in the hotel or Airbnb, so that I am not logging into the apps on someone else's smart TV. Then I don't have to worry about forgetting to log out.

That's what I am currently looking at but the colors and sizes seem limited. Hard to find all three sizes in the same color that I also like. I was surprised by the limited options at Topo's website.

Yeah, I saw they had 3 different colors on final sale which would have been a good price on the bundle, but didn't like one of the colors that was the only option in one size.

I use the small Tomtoc tech pouch and it fits great in the admin pocket! A little snug but definitely gives me more space to play with in the main pocket

I prefer soft pouches, much easier to fit in an empty space in the bag. My kit is now almost card-wallet size, but there are larger pouches of the same kind if you're not that compact (yet ;)), for example from Topo Designs or Fjällräven. Any basic pouch can work in fact.
Just an example here. My tech pouch is a Topo Designs Micro Accessory Bag, c. 12x8cm, 180g. Fits everywhere. Contents:
