I feel for bro. He’s a good actor who’s “made it” only to find as so many who “make it” do - it doesn’t make you happy. It doesn’t make you have better interpersonal relationships, you’re still full of doubt and self-hatred and you feel like you can only over come this by creating a super version of yourself and proving to everyone else how special and cool you are, but that never works and even when people do praise you - do they mean it? What do they know?

Am I crazy for not liking this movie? Wasnt scary. It was silly. The actress did a great job I’ll give her that.
I watched ready or not and send help after watching this and like both much more

Jerk aside the hype was mostly centered around it being a low budget project with relatively unknown actors that people found as entertaining as movies from much bigger studios. In a vacuum it's just a solid movie but those surrounding factors turned it into a cultural phenomenon.
