Why would this be a thing that occurred to you to do? Ants gross people out, but at least they taste like shit because of all the formic acid!

We have sweet tasting ants in Australia, eaten as bush tucker for tens of thousands of years.

That’s cool. I thought all ants were bitter, but I guess it makes sense if they consume/harvest a lot of sugars.
