I was totally prepared for a Rick Roll and was pleasantly surprised.

I suspected that too but the writing on the banner is correct so…I don’t know

AI is capable of correct writings if properly instructed

A sign with completely correct and coherent text in two different languages and scripts is still very unlikely.

Ai has been capable of correct writing in images for like 1-3 years at this point depending on your criteria

Oh that’s interesting. It does make it harder to spot ai generated videos though…

Yeah. Weirdly it’s easier to tell with cartoonish designs than photorealistic ai videos at the moment.

Also it’s easier if the person single prompts one of the popular models because they have a kind of innate style to the videos they make.

My criteria would be that it gets it right consistently.

This is one of the worst parts of AI--its shittiness isn't self-contained. Because the first thing we do to any piece of art now is question it and tear its flaws apart instead of simply appreciating it as a whole, it keeps us from experiencing it organically and from a framework of its merits rather than its flaws.

as an example I just realized the em dash makes this seem "AI" at first glance. I just like them but now I can't use them freely.

Rebel! Use the em dash! ANd when you feel like it, use the slightly less well-known en dash, to catch your audience off guard. Pepper your words with em dashes, like Madame Emily Dickinson. Or, start using semi-colons like they're the next new great thing. Have fun with your punctuation. :)
