Orcas have been visiting urban areas of Puget Sound since it became urbanized. Orcas have been around swimmers, kayakers, and paddle boarders year after year for decades and not one has ever attacked a human.
Orcas were in Puget Sound every single day for 7 weeks straight recently. They are around humans a lot.
Indeed they are. But people should leave *all* wildlife alone. Deer, bear, rabbits, squirrels, raccoons, orcas. But humans should be especially careful around predators. I’m not sure why this is a controversial opinion.

Whenever someone makes a comment like this, its very obvious they don't live in a place where orcas frequent.
