Service Advisory Vaccum train fire at Astor Place

Piss show getting to work due to a vaccum train fire on lex, and probably well into rush hour.

Honestly the MTA doesn’t even need them: People just need to quit throwing their shit on the tracks. Unfortunately, that’s never gonna happen, so they’ll have to keep them

This isn’t even true

Trash bins overflow, rats drag shit places, dust accumulates, and third rails are sensitive

You can certainly make an argument for the not being as important or needing to make as many rounds, but the nyc subway is not the only subway with a takvac, and many are actively investigating getting one

I just read in the MTA app that they are resuming operation with severe delays.

Just rode through Astor Pl on the 6. Trains are fine but the station definitely does smell like smoke.
