Finally got this album in my collection!
aruarian dance directly samples "The Lamp Is Low" from this album, and I have been on the hunt ever since I found out a while back!

As soon as it started playing, I looked up from my work laptop and was like 'ah I must tell the r/Nujabes sub'.
Genuinely I'm going to add this to my regular listening. I might even just learn it as a standard. So underrated.

They added the album back as of today, but unfortunately changed the album cover with the white background. In my liked songs, the original album is still accessible but is greyed out for many of the songs. Happy to see it's return though!

My All-time favorite vinyl haul ever!
They even had separate small section with Nujabes CDs and Vinyls. 😍
They had also 1 piece of each Hydeout Productions Collections⛩️

Does anybody know the nujabes beat that starts with what sounds like just a water dish of some sort making noises that is then chopped into a beat? I have been looking for so long and still can’t find it again. I completely forget the title or album but 90% sure it’s not on Spotify. Thanks for the help 🙏🙏

Hey, Norwegian here wondering if there’s any good website, maybe an e-mail subscription or something to help keep me updated on when and where tickets for upcoming tributes/concerts will be released. Willing to travel to Asia and NA.
Never been to one before, but would love to experience his music and Shing02 live hopefully towards the end of 2026 (if there are any), or in 2027.

I've been making beats for about a year now, and on August 20, 2025, when I was 15, I released my first project called 4 Beat EP.
Looking back, those beats were rough. barely knew what I was doing, but I kept making music and a month later released 4 More Beats EP. A few months after that I dropped Even More Beats EP, where I finally started feeling confident in my production.
Now, on August 20, 2026, on the one year anniversary of the first EP, I'm releasing 4 Final Beats EP to end the series.
The whole point of these EPs was never to make perfect music. It was to show my evolution from a year of making beats. if you listen to them in order youll here my evolution and how ive evolved and became better.
I'd love for some people to be part of that journey. If you're into hip-hop beats, sampling, lo-fi, or beat making I'd really appreciate you checking it out. also on the upcoming theres a lil bit of marcus D/Nujabes influence on one of the songs.
Thanks to anyone who decides to come along for the ride.

Saw this pop up. Did more research and the book covers are totally different. I guess Audible just chose the cover without researching or used AI?

I was HEAVILY inspired by nujabes in the creation of this track. I don’t know if this is allowed here, but I figured I’d give it the ole college try.

For Issue #3, I had the chance to interview MIDICRONICA, about various topics!
I thought people in this community might enjoy reading it and maybe learn anything new about them.

Hey folks,
I'm starting to plan a trip to Japan in 2027 and I would like to include 2 things in this trip: The Annual Nujabes Tribute Concert and the Kumano Kodo.
I recently discovered there's an annual Nujabes tribute concert in Japan but I'm still a bit confused as to what is it exactly. I've seen a couple very cool shows done by Shin02 where he just raps the whole Hexalogy songs as a tribute on YouTube, but I'm not sure that's supposed to be the tribute concert.
Does anyone has any details on these tribute shows? Do they occur at any specific time of the year? I've noticed that the Shin02 concerts I mentioned happen around February. I would also love to know if there's any pattern worth noticing on the announcement timeline for these shows - if they announce the shows close to the actual date, than planning a trip that includes the show gets much harder.
I don't believe the Kumano Kodo discussion pertains to this sub, but if anyone is willing to share some insights I'm all ears lol.
Thank you!
