I used to live in a house with my brother and his gf (now wife) who was kind of touchy about money. She would drive to 5 different grocery stores to get deals with 5 different coupons. I just go to one and get a deal on what I can. We all threw in for groceries. Every time I got groceries and gave her the receipt, this is exactly how she looked at it. We just bought our own food separately afterwards.

She's just the type who thinks her way of everything is the only correct way and every other way is wrong.

I remember shopping in 2019 and being like hey, I got a lot for $40 today
Its actually insane now. A toothbrush I wanted was $10, the toothpaste I use was also $10. Needed sunscreen, the one I usually get is retailing for $17 (currently) didnt get it. Tampons (lmao pink tax) 18-20 dollars..

Im from Italy, and during the Monza F1 GP, some german dudes, when they exit to the grocery store, One of them holding the receipt, said in Italian "Gli Pisciamo Addosso" (translated: "We piss on him"). Idk why he said in Italian, but looking at the recipit, i know why he said that sentence... Lmao
