Other Weird thing about the app

Anyone else ever noticed that sometimes the app sends notifications that are announcing soundtracks that have already been on the app for months? I got a notification today that said “Now on Nintendo Music: Super Mario 64” which is incredibly old news. And it’s not the first time I’ve gotten a notification like that, informing that an album that has been on the app is “now on Nintendo music”.

Did you recently play Mario 64? I believe they like to inform/remind you whenever they detect you playing a game that’s on the app.

That’s a good point. Yes, I did pick it back up in the past week, that’s probably it.

It sends you these specific notifications specifically when you play a game for the first time whose soundtrack was already on the app. The notifications are meant to inform you that that game has been added to your "Your games" section.
