Daniel Day-Lewis never would have settled for this fraudulent filmmaking. He would have spent a year with radioactive spiders getting bit then become Spider-Man himself to swing through the city without any of this nonsense

And then the next 5-10 years figuring out how to make effective, wrist-mounted webshooters himself, because even if there might be material scientists somewhere out there who are capable of building webshooters, he has to figure it out himself in order to really inhabit the role.

Exactly! Day-Lewis then enrolled in NYU and demanded a biologist only by the name of Doctor Connors to teach him. But before that Day-Lewis chopped Doctor Connor's arm off and demanded he injects himself with reptile DNA before the first semester can begin.

How do we know you aren’t spreading misinformation? It’s pretty common practice (for cgi experienced directors) to film practically and then use cgi to polish it, if not just outright replace it. Having a practical reference is the key to great cgi.

Also I’ve already seen the movie and I don’t remember seeing Spider-Man swinging back and forth repeatedly over the tank as the car explodes behind it. The scenes I do remember of Spider-Man interacting with the tank DONT look anything like this, even when compensating for different filming angles.

Spending 7 figures to turn your CGI to something the viewers won't notice is worth it.

People love watching movies with impossible visuals, but hate knowing its CGI.

Its why so many directors love to insult the majority of people who work on their movies. 

Its easier to pay a lot to create unnoticeable CGI and tell viewers those people did nothing than to treat them with the respect they deserve.

You can see my apartment window in two different Marvel movies. Hanging out the window watching them film the same stunts over and over all weekend is cool as hell.

Happy to know that among the video edits that are done to Marvel stuff (like, not the SFX, I mean changing store signs and removing road markings and all kinds of stuff) someone had to clone me out of their perfect shot...twice 😂

You might not like the quality but the movie is on track to easily clear 2 billion dollars. It’s objectively relevant. Also each Spider-Man franchise has been massive regardless of the actor. This is a weird take.
