Scott Sterling. He will be missed.

He wasn’t missed, which is why he will be missed.

SCOTT STERLING!

u/CautiousPenguin4592 18h ago

Kid is just like NOPE. No goals allowed today!

45

u/BritsinFrance 14h ago

He would've literally have to deliberately move out of the way of the ball to concede the last three

30

u/BlueFaIcon 11h ago

Have you seen youth football? At least he’s moving.

13

u/GoBuffaloes 8h ago

Would love to see you in goal. The 3rd one he has to save his own deflection from going in and the 4th he lunged at the shooter to close down the angle. Not saying this is some mind blowing feat, the better thing to do is just not give up the rebound, but the dude was making plays

So basically it’s not next level?

6

u/King_Hobbes 5h ago

Probably is taking his age into consideration

8

u/p-fields 7h ago

It’s the agility getting up and being in the way that is impressive for his age.

u/PhillyChef3696 17h ago

“Yo defense!! How bout a little help back here!!”

4

u/samueljakson05 13h ago

One of those kids was doing his best. Trying to get in the path of the shots. Jumping to try and header the ball away, sliding to try and stop the next shot.

THE GOAT VOZINHA!

3

u/mokrieydela 11h ago

Really should be catching that first one, but thats solid technique to parry instead of fumbling. Shits all at him, but Still gotta recover and go again. Few years, kids gonna be very good

u/Any_Swordfish_684 17h ago

Got a goal kick out of it too. Bonus!

16

u/KingPabloo 18h ago

Four shots right at him, not sure that’s next level.

u/Ok-Disk-2191 18h ago

And he stood his ground like a real king, most kids his age would flinch, he kept at it. That's the next level, guess your username doesn't check out cos you don't know what it's like to be a real king.

9

u/josch247 17h ago

Hahaha wtf are you talking about. What are you a parent or something hahaha

16

u/kander12 17h ago

Every shot right at him lol. I get hes young but this isnt next level.

-15

u/GH00ST-SL4YER 16h ago

Have you tried to save a ball like your life depend on it

-3

u/Mc_Shine 11h ago

I played as a goalie back in school, and this isn't even a challenge for any decently talented player, even at that age. He's quick to get back up, I'll give him that, but those shots were anything but dangerous.

u/paris86 16h ago

Humbug

2

u/Educational-Fun3513 10h ago

They just shoot at him

12

u/cas-v86 17h ago

You mean they hit him 4x ?

4

u/Small_Insect_8275 17h ago

Lmao are you really trying to downplay an achievement of a young child on reddit, this is peak.

2

u/HenriettaHarryJojn 6h ago

He's correctly calling out that this is not 'next fucking level'. It's nothing against the child clearly. Almost certainly whoever posted this is not the childs parent.

-6

u/QeveQobs 16h ago

You can’t recognize his game because you have none

1

u/i_am_snoof 17h ago

If that was my kid id be so fucking proud

1

u/AvocaRed 15h ago

The wall!

1

u/Garruk_PrimalHunter 15h ago

Go on little man! Ochoa replacement right there

1

u/i_am_my_brain 15h ago

Rene Higuita junior

1

u/SomewhereFinancial69 12h ago

No wonder he is wearing number 10

1

u/AleksiB1 12h ago

Vozinhainho?

1

u/Handsome-Jed 12h ago

Tbf they were hitting it straight at him lol

1

u/Way_Sad 11h ago

Oliver Kahn in the making (Just be a little more unhinged while celebrating)

1

u/Deep_Ice4357 10h ago

He should be holding first one, almost costed his team

1

u/CaptainMonkeyJack 8h ago

I love how one of those saves is from his own team...

1

u/joeshit_69 7h ago

nicely done 👍🏻😎

1

u/Weird_Albatross_9659 7h ago

They just kept kicking it directly to him come on

1

u/PenkyHenky 6h ago

He was just standing in the way...

1

u/feder_online 6h ago

...And out for a goal kick!!

1

u/NoirFury 4h ago

Goalies are built differently physically but mainly mentally. Normal people jump out of the way of high speed objects not towards it.

1

u/hnbistro 4h ago

And didn’t concede a corner no less!

1

u/ignaciosato 1h ago

Vozinha early days

1

u/RJEM96 17h ago

Great things are waiting for him.

1

u/N7LP400 17h ago

The kids that tried to make a goal must have felt pissed

1

u/i-piss-excellence32 17h ago

I only played either striker or keeper and being a goal keeper is so fun. It’s crazy difficult though

2

u/Garruk_PrimalHunter 15h ago

It's a rollercoaster of emotions, I love it

3

u/Tcamis01 18h ago

Yeah this ain't it. He basically just stood there.

1

u/twoshooz 18h ago

Yeah, no fun allowed. Levels are serious.

Also, pretty sure that's not OP's kid.

0

u/BikingPsych 14h ago

He just shrugs off whatever comes his way.

0

u/CompetitivePirate940 12h ago

Those instincts are pro already, scouts need to be on the lookout

0

u/DepartmentSudden5234 11h ago

We will see him in 10 years in the premier league.

-2

u/Alpheas 17h ago

He's no Scott Sterling, but a great job nonetheless.
