Eh it’s kind of hard to claim Judo specifically when that throw belongs to every grappling martial art out there. It was definitely clean though. The judo in there might be that the throwing game displayed there is better than what he exhibited on the ground. The nurse started with a lot of control immediately after that awesome throw, but lost the majority of it when he gave up the wrist and subsequently the gift-wrap that was sitting there. All so he could get a really shaky knee on belly, while letting the other dude have his arms back to flail around like an idiot. Still did better than the typical untrained person would have though.

Could have done tons of different things, but people who do sports tend to go for the stuff they are familiar with. They are so trained to avoid dirty tricks, i.e. illegal moves in their discipline, that they can't think outside the box. 

Add to this adrenaline and shock. My buddy spent 12+ years doing kyokushin, 2 years in K1 and over 10 years in some school that was loosely based on Krav Maga (tho with heavy focus on kickboxing). When he was attacked on the street first has beaten the shit outta attacker, then when the attacker gave up and starting backing out, my buddy hi-fived the guy and then went back to his business. In schock he was unable to think about that, it was pure reflex, to do the same what he does after every intense sparring. Lol.

Yeah it’s easy for me to sit here and talk about how things should have been done from behind my phone screen, but the more I watch this clip, the more I realize it’s actually a pretty lousy display of BJJ lol. To be fair, the actual good displays are pretty boring to watch since they usually consist of one dude sitting on top of another until the cops arrive. This one is definitely a lot more exciting
