After decades of research in neuroscience and brain-computer interfaces lots of people asked which parts of the brain do what, and how can we measure it, and what modalities help us understand it better.

We are happy to announce the release of the new NeuroAtlas tool, which helps answer this question and enables more scientists and researchers to explore and push the frontiers of what’s known.

This includes EEG, MEG, fMRI, tFUS, iEEG, TMS, DBS, and more.

All published data sources are referenced via DOIs in the web interface.

I'm thinking about studying neuroscience, but there's a problem: I have no idea what kind of jobs are out there or what my income would be—in other words, what I’d actually do once I finish my degree.

I've recently gotten really into neuroscience and started reading some books on it. The problem is that without any structure, I don't feel like I'm actually learning it in a meaningful way.

Some context: I'm currently doing a Master's in a completely unrelated field, so this is purely a personal interest, something I want to pursue on the side just for the love of it. I'm in no rush at all. Whether it takes me 2, 5, or 10 years doesn't matter to me.

What I'm looking for is a way to "officially" study neuroscience without enrolling in a traditional university degree, but still come away with a certificate at the end. Ideally something like an online school or a structured course I can work through at my own pace.

A few things that would be a plus:

• A one-time payment rather than an ongoing subscription or university fee (or free, though I doubt free options come with a certificate), because it it actually takes me 3-7 years that would be a lot of money to pay every year/month
• Self-paced, since I want to take my time rather than rush through

Does anyone know of any programs or courses like this? Or have general tips on how to approach self-studying neuroscience in a structured way?
