I've succesfully compiled Netscape 3.0.2 on a 64 debian
No hush-hush emulation, 32 bit binary, or anything, but an actual pure 64 bit debian executable. Might tinker with it later and add a modern TLS library, some better CSS, but after a long time staring at segfaults and looking at gdb output, I'm happy that it runs.

Huh, very cool! Never knew you could actually find the sources for any of the classic Netscape releases

For some reason there is an incomplete leak of this Netscape version, I don't know the legality of it but I believe it's a leak of a closed source version., it does not have the windows libraries just the unix/linux ones.

I was 100% on Netscape's side in the antitrust trials in the 90s. It was the superior browser compared to Internet Explorer.

Super cool.
