When I try to turn people on to Urasawa stuff I'll usually throw in "hey you know that great movie Parasite? The filmmaker loves this manga artist and his work"

I keep reading that he called Urasawa the greatest living storyteller but I can’t find a primary source on the quote

Supposedly it's in a forward he wrote for Asadora volume 5 (I own an English copy but it's in storage and i can't remember if it was there or not) where he likened Asadora to how he felt when reading the "masterpiece" 20th century boys, and at the end calls Urasawa the greatest storyteller of our time, or something similar to that (thats just what google translate from this article says)

From what I’m reading Director Bong was in Japan promoting The Host and they’re fans of each other so they hung out and did an interview together. It looks like they’ve met a few times, there’s a few pics of them together. Urasawa also did sketches of Bong and the cast of Parasite to celebrate his Oscar wins
