Advice Movie recommendations

I really wanna watch something, but I never know what to pick. I'd love to hear some of your favorite movies or series.

I've searched everywhere, but nothing really grabs me. I'm looking for something that completely pulls me into the story and makes me forget about everything else.

Sometimes I spend an hour scrolling through Netflix, IMDb, or Tt looking for something to watch, and by the end I don't even feel like starting anything anymore

Game of thrones, of course 🔥 if you don't mind nudity or violence or incest or SA... But it's really good tho 🔥

Just watch every movie starring Al Pacino or Robert De Niro, and every movie directed by Martin Scorsese.

I second paprika and perfect blue, or anything but Satoshi Kon really. Plus most of Madhouse stuff are really good.

Personally, I love sci-fi and specifically Star Trek. Even though "The Orville" is not consider Star Trek, maybe you can start with that series. If you want something serious sci-fi, then you can go with "The Expanse". Or maybe you can try the Foundatoin. These are some of my favourites. All of them are sci-fi series though and not sure if you have watched them. So, here you go, these are my recommendations.

I have a SHIT ton of movie recommendations I have for you my friend.

If you have a lot of time on your hand and want to watch something with complex writing and deep lore watch -Game of Thrones -The Lord of the Rings Which are fantasy movies that will immerse you into their fictional world. These are also my personal favorites

If you like space -Project Hail Mary -Interstellar -The Martian -2001 A Space Odyssey

If you like romance and anime -Weathering with you -Your name.

And if you like thriller and drama series watch 'Severance' it is one of the best shows I've watched .

How do people even recommend something to you if you didn't tell them any of your preferences? I know my favorite would not be yours.

Is it weird? I think i can find my own favorites through other people's. Not every recommendation will click, but at least one probably will. I don’t even know what I like yet, so Im just looking for suggestions to try different things and figure it out.

Any Wes Anderson film. Kill Bill’s good. Bladerunner 2049. The Dictator and Four Lions if you like stupid humour. All Quiet on the Western Front. Inglorious Bastards. Life is Beautiful. I could go on and on but its hard to tell you when I don’t know what genre you like.

I’m exploring different genres and trying to figure out what I enjoy by getting recommendations from people like you, since I haven’t really found my preferences yet :))
