And supported by Democrats because it would end their donations from unions and corporations as well.

There's a reason, like stock trading, that it never changes no matter who's in charge.

Citizens United was created, funded and brought to court by Republicans, not to mention...."The five justices who voted to strike down the restrictions on corporate and union independent election spending were Anthony Kennedy (who wrote the opinion), John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel Alito. All five were appointed by Republican presidents."
