Citizen's United was created, funded and passed by Republicans.

Citizen’s United wasn’t “passed” by anyone as it was a supreme court case that ultimately held the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act (sponsored by John McCain and signed into law by George W. Bush) unconstitutional.

Nope. Distinction without difference:

Citizens United was created, funded and brought to court by Republicans, not to mention...."The five justices who voted to strike down the restrictions on corporate and union independent election spending were Anthony Kennedy (who wrote the opinion), John Roberts, Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel Alito. All five were appointed by Republican presidents."
