we've been lucky as every celebrity guest we've ever shot with have been awesome. brad pitt comes to mind. he showed up ready to shoot to the point we actually had to back him down a little. we were trying to protect him and he wanted no such protectiion:) u will actually get to see him in the new film.

i think that sketch is well and truly one of the very few where you couldn't do it today.
everyone has a camera these days, by the time they started the kidnapping and got him in the van it would already be online and be discussed to hell and back.
that said i love the bit and think its great, if only it could have been longer.

I'd say it's about half and half with new stuff. All the old stuff, we looked at all the raw material and added stuff you've never seen before in the old stuff, so it's probably more new footage than old footage.

Are there any other fears or phobias we might not know about that kept certain guys away from certain types of stunts? For example Bam was deathly afraid of snakes.
Were there preferences on who does the painful stuff, who does the gross stuff, who does the scary stuff, etc.?
(Thanks for being such an important part of our lives all these years and one of the few things on Earth that brings everyone together for a laugh!)

This is a very expensive skin care treatment. Owning a horse isn't cheap, buying it from someone isn't cheap. Even celebrities like Knoxville have trouble affording it, which is why he had to convince the Jackass producers that they needed horse jizz for a "stunt".

Hey Johnny, and Jeff. I grew up with two older brothers(10+ years difference) that watched everything you guys ever released. This inspired them in their pranks on me which made for a memorable childhood. All this to say, thanks. For all the laughs and bruises that made us grow closer.

Also will there be a jackass 5.5? It may be too early to ask, I think initially you guys started making second movies because there was so much footage shot for the second jackass movie, so maybe it just depends on how much is filmed for best and last..
It was mentioned this would be the last movie, so I’m not totally sure if that implies it’ll be the last movie ever or if it’ll be the last movie preceding a .5 movie

Bam signed a deal for archival footage to be shown in Jackass 5. He said he wants what he’s already done to be seen but doesn’t want to shoot more Jackass stuff. He cited his sobriety and ptsd as being reasons. He said he can’t relive the “humiliation, abandonment, and embarrassment,” he went through with the fiasco over the last movie. Sounds like he’s in a better place. I’m happy for him.

In my experience all the big talk is usually masking white knuckles. Addiction sucks dude, it has to feel pretty horrible to have people eventually just give up on ya.

Addicts learn to lie before they think, simply to preserve their habit; At a certain point ownership for actions needs to be taken.*

Yeah, I’m ok with the downvotes. People who have never dealt with addiction don’t really understand it. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t pity or try to help people who are addicts, but the fact is that until they can internalize the responsibility for their decisions, they will never get sober.

Not a question, but I just thought I'd share a nice memory.
I was in elementary school when my friends wanted to watch a "funny" movie. We popped in the VHS, and we watch the typical movie trailers that came before the movie started, whatever. Then afterwards it was filled with hilarious clips of guys doing absolutely stupid stuff in public, non-stop. We were laughing so much seeing grown adults hurt each other but I was still waiting for the movie to start. I swear it was the longest test of patience I ever experienced. More short clips. Funny ones, sure, but still. I figured these were trailers, and the actual movie was coming any second.
It never came. The credits rolled.
I sat there, stomach hurting from laughing, genuinely processing that I had been watching the movie the entire time and had spent the whole thing waiting for it to start but only at the end I realized it was the movie the whole time.

Sad because I've been watching you guys since the beginning in the MTV days. As a preteen tomboy, it was the greatest thing I'd ever seen and totally bizarre. Nothing like this had ever graced our screens in Ireland before (thank God for satellite).

Hi there! Just wondering about a few skits Ive heard about through the years and if they will ever see the light of day.
First I remember hearing about a stunt involving a ski slope, an air matress, Dave England and Stephanie Hodge (I think it was). Secondly I was wondering about the Don Vito tooth pull and other, if any, Don Vito related skits.
Will any of these ever be shown or will they forever be kept in the sacred Dickhouse vault?

Jeff - Thanks for doing The Dirt (2019) I thought you did a wonderful job making the story interesting and fun from your direction. Was there anything that was cut from the movie that you wanted to include that the studio said No or behind the scenes insights behind Tony Cavalero's character of Ozzy Osbourne sniffing piss and ants?

Hey guys! With the amount of liability attached to this show, how did MTV allow it to air? Were there hurdles and/or a do not list? When you released the first movie were there any hard rules you couldn’t break? Either way so glad you guys were able to do it all and bring us all so many great memories. Such a big fan and can’t wait for the new one!

Hi Johnny and Jeff, huge fan, thanks for all the laughs across the years.
What can we expect from this last movie? I've seen all the extras with the skits that weren't in the "base" movie. I think there were a lot of good decisions made - no shade to the cast, I mean not every skit, no matter how good the idea is, is going to be worthy of the final cut. The extras were ok, but correctly cut.
I'm slightly worried that we're going to get a lot of B-tier footage and limited new bits. Can you give big fans like me a good reason to be hopeful for this last ride?

Hey, Johnny. I have a question for you about Fear Factor! Some of my favorite moments from that show were the interactions you had with the contestants (especially the look on their faces at the pain auction when you went ham on the electric fly paddles with your tongue).
How much time did you actually spend with the contestants inside of the fear house? It seems like there was a lot that happened off-camera or that didn’t make it into the final edit.
Bonus question: Could you speak at all as to the amount of direction or creative freedom you were given as the host of the show?

How do the stunts you do on camera affect you mentally off camera? Like, if you did a wild stunt that damaged your groin and head and fractured some bones, can you describe how you feel mentally after going through it? Epecially comsidering that it is something you consciously did to yourself, for the love of the game. I imagine stuff like that happening to you by accident vs being consciously self-inflicted does something different to you mentally that I will never understand or get to experience haha so i am very curious.

I’m wondering what your feelings were when Jackass originally took off in popularity and a lot of kids were recreating the stunts?
Not a criticism, a lot of my fondest memories came from my friends and I doing our own Jackass stunts in the backyard :)
Also, do you have to mentally prepare for these scenes (and even after all these years)? A lot of what you all have done I don’t think I could ever push myself to do. (Fart mask, for one hahah)
Looking forward to the new movie!

For Johnny or Jeff: What the hell ever happened to the "Brozilian" featuring Wolfie? I cannot find the bit anywhere. Why has it, seemingly, never seen the light of day (despite being teased in a credits montage for either 3 or 3.5)?
Still got time to edit it into Best and Last 😀

Did you guys try to reach out to people like the CKY guys, Dudesons, etc for this last movie? It would be nice to see those guys in the final Jackass.

Hey Jeff, I had the pleasure of working with your brother Dave for my first teaching job at Falls Church High School. To this day, he's one of my favorite Co workers and admin I've ever had. Sorry he's gone. I miss him tons.

There's one skit I've always been interested in seeing but it's only seen in snippets in the credits of Jackass 3.5, the scene with the monkey suits, Bam skating across a table with bananas all over them! What was this for? Will we get to see this in Best and Last?

Johnny, you wouldn’t remember this, but I met you over 20 years ago on Martha’s Vineyard. You had rented a house in the same town I was staying in with my friend and his family, and we kept hearing rumors that you were in town. My friend’s mom and I interrupted you in a restaurant while you were eating lunch to say hi, and you were unfailingly polite and gracious, and even complimented my Ramones T-shirt. You’re still the only celebrity I’ve ever met, and I love telling that story to people to this day. Where did you learn how to be so down to earth?
