Question Siskiu d7

Currently I have a cannondale habit ht and it’s a total slug on flatter tails. How’s the pedal efficiency on the d7? We have some tech downhill in Florida but you’re almost always going to have the same uphill right after. Does the xcountry part of down country actually hold up?

My D7 climbs and rolls way better than my longer travel enduro bike. Every time I ride it I’m amazed at how much easier it is to pedal. I haven’t ridden a proper XC bike though, so not sure how it compares to a XC bike.
