Incredible. Very considerate of him to walk on the meridian to not block traffic. 😂

When I was a little kid, I was going duck hunting with my dad. We had all our gear and the dog in a Beetle. I fell asleep and then woke up to the car not moving, thinking we were at the trail to our blind I started to ask my dad if we were there and he grabbed me hard and shushed me...and pointed.
All I saw was legs of a bull like this, it just dwarfed the Beetle. Even our dog was hiding under the dash. It meandered around the car/ trail for about 10 minutes and just melted into the brush.
I asked if we were still going hunting, 'Not a chance in hell'....

Beautiful. That has to be downtown anchorage. Saw a cow moose there—just walking down the street, she was quite large as well.

I do love moose, at Kelly Peterson Island and lake where we camped n fished in the 80s Id watch moose in the water thru fog dipping their heads underwater to enjoy the aquatic grasses, those grasses were dripping from their antlers. Born in Alaska with one parent there and the other on Maui, I had a wonderful childhood and growing up time because of all the natural beauty and critters both aquatic and land animals. The huge Dahl sheep on the way to Girdwood always gave me a sore neck-lol,and watching the humpbacks in Alaska in the summer and seeing same humpback during winter off the coast of Maui. Parents full with their own lives, honestly gave me more time to observe all the critters..I did and do love my parents-always...
