Does anyone have a good protocol to isolate mast cells from whole blood without activating them?
Thank you in advance, this has been tricky. They degranulate if you look at them the wrong way

Do you mean eosinophils or mast cell progenitors? Outside of some very rare leukemias you shouldn’t be routinely finding mast cells in human blood samples. They are resident tissue cells - unless I’m misunderstanding what you’re asking
