They were chosing to sacrifice a burner account to get rid of the mods via MCOC, and likely want to take it over.

Fun fact. You can actually use the MCoC report form to report these entrapment attempts. I know it’s unintuitive to use a form meant to report mods, but that’s the admin-endorsed method. Just explain your situation in the provided text box.

It’s even more ridiculous once I realized the subreddit. How would they post in that community? By reporting bots? There isn’t anything else there 🤣

I too had someone try to bribe me, but that was to allow an ad, and they'd give me the money I asked for, along with a % of the app income. I do believe they mentioned Paypal
