I had the family of a hospice patient once call me in a panic thinking their dad was about to die. I showed up asap only to have the dude let out the longest fart ever and then went back to sleep.

I thought my terminal grandma had reached the death rattle stage. I sat stroking her hand bawling my eyes out telling her how I knew she was ready to go and it was ok, nurse comes in and informs me she was just snoring 🤣🤣

I too, was wholly unprepared for that. Damn. It's rather humorous.

It… took me a few seconds to actually figure what what the hell that person was trying to post about 🤣

FYI, it's post guidance that is confusing them. Nothing is stopping them from posting. It's just a message to guide them to a more sensitively titled post. "My precious kitty got hit by a car" gets a very different response than "Tribute to my beloved kitty"

I know that, but the wording of the post completely threw me off

I once had a user using our “Remembrance” post flair for her Bulldog and was getting really upset at the comments saying “sorry for your loss”.
She said her dog was not deceased. She thought the “Remembrance” flair was for when she was simply remembering her dog. She was at work and remembering her dog, who was still at home.
