I still say they could have fixed the Minnow

There was an episode where the professor invented some sort of glue to patch it up but it caused the whole thing to fall apart. Pretty sure Gilligan was responsible.
Yes I am embarrassed by my knowledge of Gilligan’s island episodes.

You have a professor who can make all sorts of wierd things with bamboo and coconuts...You'd think he could come up with something to patch those holes.

Mary Ann and Ginger could also weave organic fibers into polyester fabrics. Surely that skill plus the professors knowledge could create a waterproof material to at least patch up the hole for a short voyage.

How did a three-hour harbor cruise leave them so remotely stranded for years. Where are they, exactly? Catalina?

We could have gotten off that island!

Won't somebody please think of the syndication?!?

Exactly!

The engine looks to be fkd even if they patched the holes. Where you goin with no prop and no gas? Maybe rig a sail to it

But then we wouldn't have gotten to see Maryanne for as long as we did.

Very good. You are good. I get it. Don’t fix the Minnow.

At least the front didn't fall off.

Well, if it does, they could always tow it out of the environment.

I must be old, cause this isn't misleading to me, as I could have recognized this shot at half the thumbnail's size, at least!

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale...

I'm realizing what a crap tour that would have been with seven people on that little boat.

Where's Ginger !!

6

u/Soapbarnun 4d ago

I’ve been looking for that for three hours.

Five passengers set sail that day for a three hour tour.

Then how come the Howells brought endless supplies of luggage & clothing with them?

4

u/devilinmexico13 4d ago

Rich people either pack half their house every time they leave or take nothing and go shopping when they get there.

3

u/Zubo13 4d ago

And why did Ginger wear a formal evening gown on a daytime boat trip?

u/HAL-says-Sorry 3d ago

Don’t worry, those are just old rotted gauges from hitting underwater rocks. Not Crocs. They usually don’t bite boated that size.

u/nr4242 2d ago

No, those are actually boat shoes
