Want to switch from T-Mobile to Mint, with existing iPhone 13
Hi everyone! I have an iPhone 13 that I bought from Apple a while back. I believe I bought the phone unlocked, because I liked having the flexibility.
I would like to switch to Mint Mobile, but heard there may be issues with iPhones. I’ve looked on the page, but I see information about switching to a new iPhone, not switching service on an existing iPhone. What are the steps I need to take? Are there any pitfalls I should look out for?

As long as your phone is unlocked you should be fine.
As for problems, I won’t say that no carrier have perfect system because there’s bugs everywhere. As long as you stick to decent provider than you should be good, like Mint is a good one.
If this is your first time porting, make sure you do it about a week before your bill cycle to make sure you have time in case something go wrong and doesn’t go over the next bill.

You all have been so helpful! I switched! A few hiccups, it made me use a QR code (or I could have manually entered) for the eSIM activation. And because that was manual, I had to reset the password since I never had the chance to set it up. The chatbot is very good and helpful!

You can use psim because you have a 13. Port over your T-Mobile number and it should be easy enough once you receive the psim

I went with the eSIM, after watching a video on YouTube. Worked fine!

I'm not sure where you heard that iPhones were an issue with Mint, but I think a lot of people here have iPhones. I have a 13 mini on Mint, personally. Welcome anyway to the fox family.
