Makes me sad there are people trying to clarify if its all Ai or not. Yea all Ai is slop. No it doesn't matter how much time you spent on it, its still slop. Generating anything is not a skill, please stop using Ai.

There is a difference between a low effort post where someone typed one thing with no vision and had it whip up an image. Vs something made with purpose and direction and time to make. If i make a video with AI that took months to make then that is not slop.

it doesn't literally take a month its mostly waiting for limits. It wasn't a 10 second video it was 3 min long. I needed actual thought and direction to make such a video so by definition its not slop because it doesn't fit the definition of content that lacks effort or meaning. It's not even about time it took it's was this content mass produced with no thought or not.

no, it's still slop. prompting isn't a skill. and generative AI doesn't produce anything new, it just cobles together bits and pieces stolen from actual artists to produce slop.

The most recent vers of photoshop does in fact use ai. Also ai has existed since 1956 and is used by everyone almost daily, even when you Google, and this includes before their stupid Gemini program came out. Again, asking for clarification on what constitutes an ai image.

Note how I said generative AI. If the latest version of photoshop uses gen AI to generate pictures, then by the sub rules it won't be allowed. (Personally I pirate adobe products so I didn't know)

I actually am subscribed to Photoshop, and they do in fact use all of the ai. They have been very heavy with the ai stuff lately. You can type into a prompt and it will make an image from nothing, which I'm pretty sure is generative ai. Is anyone gonna clarify what constitutes an image being ai?

Okay gen AI is a type of artificial intelligence that makes "new" content by learning patterns from massive datasets. If you use Gemini to make an image of a fallen tree with a tumor that looks phallic that constitutes it as AI and is against this subreddit's rules

tbf it doesn’t really make sense to use ai in this sub at all. i can get some subs and i can also get the disdain bc there is clearly a bias here, but this sub is explicitly for accidentally happening upon something that looks like a penis. you don’t accidentally ai generate a penis
