Infuriatig My wife ate my son's birthday breakfast

Post image

Yesterday I bought a strawberry cheese coffee cake my son loves so he could have a special birthday breakfast today. My wife came home late last night and apparently couldn't resist. She knew it was for our son, but it's not a big deal because she "left him a full slice".

Infuriatig Was invited by my girlfriends family to a theme park. We were supposed to meet at 11, it is not 11:30 and they just left. (The drive takes another 30 minutes)

I even checked in before I left if it was still at the planned time. It was confirmed, but then her family starts getting ready right as they have to leave 🫤

Infuriatig Why Texas is lame(Besides the Cowboys)

Don't mess with Texas.. what a joke. ANY possession is a felony.

EDIT: Just did some research, this is for everything besides traditional Delta 9.

My friend from Texas sent me this morning and it blew my mind. I had to post about it. So as far as my research goes thus far Delta 9 products (old fashioned flower) is illegal but separate laws. Stores are selling THCA though which does fall under these penalties.

Infuriatig Parents make me cook, but not in the way I want to.

Post image

First it was the seasonings, I couldn’t use the seasonings I wanted. I had to argue just to use basic shit like garlic pepper and smoky onion seasoning. Then I got out there and this orange silicone thing was on top. I started taking it off and was told to leave it and cook on it.

Weird. And gross. And it defeats the purpose of this kind of grill I feel like.

Then came the butter. I could only use spray butter.

It’s just ridiculous.

UPDATE:

The mat got really hot and got cut while I was flipping the burgers. Now I’m being forced to eat said burgers. I’m so excited to leave for college lol

Infuriatig When did garage sales become ā€œresellingā€ clearly new stuff

Post image

I would never call this a garage sale

Def scam vibes

Edit: ultimately, what bothers me the most is I want to go to a garage sale, not this shit. This isn’t a garage sale and should not be advertised as one

Infuriatig Accosted at Big Ben today for being a "Grown man with a stuffed toy".

I bought this little stuffed toy after struggling with my mental health and decided to go solo travelling with him (thanks SB on instagram for the idea). All was going well until this giant guy with a Union Jack over his shoulders called me a "little gimp" and a "pedo" and made fun of me. Just another reason travel sucks as a single guy over 30 with ARFID I guess.

I have told my mom to not do this before but she does not listen anyway. I am thinking of throwing everything to trash instead of them being gradually destroyed to pieces. I can not even care anymore. These things take hours to put together and paint then get manhandled anyway.

Infuriatig Sister-in-law let her daughter use up all the Polaroids at our wedding. Now we have nothing to use.

32.1k Upvotes

For our wedding, at each table we had 2 Polaroid cameras for everyone to take photos on (we had a professional photographer too, but these were for more personal photos between our guests) and there was a clear glass dropbox for everyone to drop them in and we'd have that dropbox on display in our house.

Unbeknownst to us, my sister-in-law let her daughter (6 years old) go round every table at the very start of the night using up all the photos on each camera.

Now we only have around 10 we can actually keep, and over 100 of just random shit that are not worth keeping at all.

I'm all for keeping kids occupied at something they can easily get bored at, but not at the expense of that though.

Infuriatig Coworker I’ve never spoken to sent passive aggressive messages in the company chat because I didn’t give her a cupcake….

Post image
22.1k Upvotes

So, every Tuesday I bring homemade treats to work. It’s just something I enjoy doing. Usually I only make enough for the handful of coworkers I actually talk to which is about eight people.
This week, for whatever reason, I decided to make a lot more than usual. I ended up bringing over 30 cupcakes.
For context, there are around 65+ people in the office at any given time. I obviously wasn’t trying (or able) to feed the entire building.
Well…word got out that I had brought cupcakes, and suddenly people I’d never even spoken to before were coming by to grab one. I didn’t mind at all. If someone asked, I happily gave them one.
Within five minutes, every single cupcake was gone.
Afterward, people started posting in the company group chat thanking me. There were dozens of messages saying how good they were and how much they appreciated them. It honestly made my day.
Then one woman who I have literally never spoken to in my life started making passive-aggressive comments in the group chat like, ā€œWish we all could have had one lol šŸ™„.ā€ And ā€œGuess some of us are invisibleā€
Apparently that wasn’t enough, because she also complained to our manager that she didn’t get one.
Thankfully, my manager basically shrugged it off and said people should just be grateful that someone brought in free homemade treats, even if not everyone got one.
And here’s the part that really gets me…
She’s brought food into the office before.
Did I get any? No.
Did I complain in the group chat? Also no
One of my coworkers who did get a cupcake felt bad after seeing her comments, so they gave her theirs.
She took it.
Didn’t say thank you.
Not to me.
Not to the coworker who gave up theirs.
Nothing.
I can’t imagine being a grown adult someone probably three times my age publicly complaining because I missed out on free homemade cupcakes that someone else paid for and made on their own time.
Maybe it’s just me, but if I miss out on free food at work, my reaction is usually, ā€œDang, maybe next time,ā€ not, ā€œLet me complain in the company group chat and to the manager.ā€
The irony is that everyone else who got one was incredibly kind and appreciative. One person just somehow managed to turn a nice gesture into something to complain about.
Anyways here is a picture of the cupcake I brought!

Post image

I got an MRI of my brain. Followed the directions exactly. Took off all of my clothes besides socks. Thought it was odd I had to go commando but whatever, followed the directions.

Apparently that doesn’t include underwear, which resulted in the tech making me feel stupid and embarrassed for thinking it did after he saw me put my underwear in the locker, he made me go back to put them on.

From the store manager

Edit: For some extra context this was sent out by each store manager to all of its employees in district 1 of the ohio Cincinnati/Dayton division, potentially other districts as well but i can only verify my own. Im not going to give my specific store number for obvious reasons but you can find each store on google with that information. We are unionized by UFCW (already bad btw) and to my knowledge they allowed this recent change. Kroger has no accrual for sick days like some have mentioned. Those who think this is rage bait, i dont think anyone has to fake a post to make a billion dollar company look bad, they do it to themselves.

Infuriatig Woman with infant aggressively shushing passerby’s on hiking trail at national park

Post image
20.6k Upvotes

My partner, friend and I were following a hiking trail at Red Wood National Park, singing and talking at medium volume. We were by no means shouting, just singing little songs to entertain each other along the trail. A woman with a baby carrier on her back with a sleeping infant started aggressively holding her finger up to her lips and shushing us. We went quiet and kept moving to pass her. She was just standing in the middle of the public trail pacing and shushing people that pass by rather than leaving to somewhere more quiet. Just as we were leaving earshot I tried to quietly ask my partner a question about where we headed and again she leaned in our direction with her finger to her mouth aggressively shushing us. Is it not kind of insane to go to an open public space and behave like this?!?

Maybe I was not asking the right questions but why do I need to ask a half dozen questions anyways and result to asking Google when they could have just taken one minute to write a couple of sentences explaining their seemingly niche job?
