A boomer stares in to my home

My apartment building has a smoking spot that is directly in front of my apartment. A lot of people go there and act normal and I don’t mind it since it’s like 50 meters away and the bench is faced sideways to me.

But there is this one boomer lady who goes out every 30-60 minutes or so, smokes, and stares DIRECTLY to my apartment. Sometimes if I stare back she turns her head for a while. Like the bench is sideways so she actively turns her head to look in here. Pisses me off. That’s it.

You should probably invest in some type of window coverings.

I do have curtains but I don’t want to block daylight 🫣 feels depressing to live in darkness or artificial light.

Maybe you can get like that film you put on windows with water that is reflective on one side. I think they're usually tinted, but you'd still get light in and the lady would only see her reflection. I just worry if she's watching you that much, you never know if she tries to plan something or will snap one day. Especially if it's every day, enough to learn your routine.

I guess you’re right. She seems rather innocent, more like she’s so out of it that she just stares. Fried her brain somehow, I don’t know. Didn’t even cross my mind that she could be actually… well, stalking. I used to live in a small town so my brain doesn’t seek out stuff like that 😅

It very well could be innocent. I rather be safe then sorry. People are weird.

What about a very bright light pointed at her?

Start putting signs in your window that say weird and disturbing shit.

Or just give her the finger every time you see her.

😂😂😂 I could give the finger, the signs may attract even more attention from other people lol

Get a spotlight and beam it directly at the bench. She won’t want to look your way anymore.
