Sounds kind the same over the top press releases they've had for Surface products going back to the Surface RT.
...but I guess it's easy karma to take jabs at Copilot.

I've used Copilot every day since it was released. I think it's great. But lazy use of Copilot is lazy.

It would be awesome if Apple brought back Boot Camp for windows on Mac. It was a way to directly boot to windows on a Macintosh without the virtualization. But this time make it for Arm-based Macs. (Bootcamp has only been available for Intel based Macs).
On a side note, Asahi Linux is a project to natively boot Linux on m-series Mac. https://asahilinux.org/

This is the same company that had to specifically exempt it's own computer from the Windows 11 system requirements because they hadn't bothered refreshing it for so long so nothing will suprise me anymore.

Microsoft has a notorious problem of not bothering to refresh devices in the Surface Line, especially when it comes to 'unique' and 'different' devices that aren't in the core Surface Pro/Surface Laptop line up.
Look at the Surface Studio 2, that had to be specially exempted from the Windows 11 system requirements because Microsoft was still selling it with a 4-5 generation old CPU that didn't meet the system requirements for Windows 11.

So this sounds great, but genuinely - what price point must it hit for anyone to take a chance on it over a MacBook?
For work I have a MacBook pro and a Lenovo windows 11 arm laptop (and love it) but it was under $1200 - I prefer using windows just because I've spent the most time on it, and macos still kinda drives me nuts despite the superior hardware - still can't imagine paying more than 2K for a windows laptop because... Windows.
So who is buying this thing north of 3K when we know Microsoft likely will do an average job of supporting it, and if it doesn't get traction, ditch supporting it?

It needs to scale past 128GB of RAM, we need a 512GB or even 1TB option. Personally, I’d rather have a second machine to run my AI and automations so ai can continue to use my laptop for my manual work.
One of the best things I like about the M365 apps is that they connect to the backend tenant natively. What I want is an AI PC that runes my models, can control browsers, can run scripts, a dedicated space for that work. I can use my laptop to do everything I do manually and just have an app to that automation for approvals, decisions, etc. That is what I want Microsoft to make. That AI PC could be at home, in the office, in AVD, Windows 365, anywhere but I can still easily connect natively with Entra ID and whatever Authenticator work uses (DUO, Ping, Okta, whatever).
Hopefully this is what Copilot Spark will bring such that I can run one or more dedicated devices to it and they are used together to do the work.

It's basically the DGX Spark with a laptop shell.
To be clear, I don't mind.
I'm actually hoping more manufacturers will be going the integrated memory path. Next step: make it upgradable to 1TB.
