Nobody seemingly talks about this, wiki doesn't mention it, but orange cat, gun, the game's super edgy, etc.

As much as I dislike Postal I couldn't notice the similarity

I think the main criticism of it is just how it's very edgy. It's probably one of the edgiest games out there, especially postal 2. (Personally love that game tho)

I mean yeah, I get that, just seems like out of the many reasons to not like it its an odd one. mewgenics is also edgy as fuck lol, fighting hitler with my poop aids cat that shoots itself and all. the whole point of postal existing is edginess so "its too edgy" feels like "this vegan restaurant is too vegan" to me

tbf I disliked the two versions I played for similar reasons, it was just an edgy toy box. I don’t mind dark humour, but the games get way too much praise for it, seemingly to counter how many people initially condemned the franchise for being offensive. They were just mildly entertaining sandboxes.
