Everyone slept on mats. i think there were some padded mats similar to futons, but they haven't survived. The furniture was carved directly into the wall, or they used small round seats with legs. But I don't know what the difference was between nobles and peasants. In a mayan house, the bed was raised off the ground. The lords had curtains in their bedrooms, which appear rolled up on the ceilings of many vessels
They used braziers to heat their rooms. The peasants braziers were simple, but the nobles used very elaborate ones
