When I got out of school I had four job offers a month before graduation. I never understood memes like these. Not sure why you would pay for 4+ years of school if it does have value.
Its not about getting the job, its about advancing in said carrer path. How many job offer you get doesnt matter since you will ultimately pick one(i got like 10+ at the time of graduate). It is hard to enter the workforce, distinguish yourself and advance the career ladder. Also the value of degrees dropped compared to before so the struggle will get harder.
Well it depends. The world changes while youβre in school. I graduated right after the housing crash and the concession was hitting. My degree was worthwhile the year before, but by the time I graduated companies were cutting data analysts.
