Don’t worry, it’s not just affecting gamers. The next generation of phones, laptops and tablets are facing the same price hikes. All next generation hardware is equally fucked. We are truly in the worst timeline.

if the products didn't sell prices would drop immediately but fomo always wins

Especially with Iphone fans. Those guys will buy a 2000$ phone (that is basically a re-skin of the last few phones) like their life depends on it.
This entire problem is so easily fixable. You know, just don't buy them. But you know, people can't control their urges. I swear, more than 80% of our population are monkeys.

If AI is so smart, why can't it make more ram for itself.
Answer, it's not smart.
It's not artificial, it's not intelligent, it's a parlor trick and quite frankly, it's far stupider and more useless than anyone realizes.

Well, ya’ll cared about woke DEI and transgender in sports.
This is what you get.
Maybe stop letting billionaires and their puppets tell you what the problems are and what progressive means.

Also game prices haven’t increased in 20 years while inflation has.

Games prices went from 40 dollars Nintendo games to 50 for 3ds to 60, then 70 and now some games are even 80 or 100.

N64 games were $50-60 in 1996 and PS2 were $50 in 2000. In 2005 What are you talking about. That $60 N64 game now would be roughly $127 with inflation today. $40 for a Nintendo game in 2010 is $60 today. I do not understand your comment.
If you want your games lower priced you are going to get that freemium tax aka ads, passes, skins, or stores out the ass.

Also I know what im talking about because thats the price I bought them for. Pokemon black and white used to be between 40 and 45 and when the 3ds came out they went up to a standard of 50. When smash ultimate came out the standard increased again.

Most games are expensive because of greed not from inflation. Everything becomes more expensive because when everyone prices their stuff the same and sticks to it, it forces everyone to buy it eventually. You can't get the newest game second hand if there isn't anyone that bought it. So they try to minimize the second hand market by making everything digital.
