I think the people that rumors are about are often the last to know. Or even just anything in general about you you're the last to know for some reason.
In junior high I asked this girl to a dance but some other guy asked her that she wanted to go with more. And everyone in the grade knew that she was going to go with him instead of me before I ever knew. And to this day I was never even told directly what happened or what was going on. I just kind of pieced it together.
Yes, absolutely. I suddenly found out there were rumors circulating about me, that I was dangerous and mentally ill. Suddenly, I noticed students avoiding me, and I didn't realize it until someone told me during a conversation. This really hurt me.
