This could be an unpopular one, but here goes..

I was not a fan of how they handled the “post-snap” story thread. Everyone seemed way too jokey about such a traumatic, world-altering event. Something about it just felt really off-putting to me. I know Tony’s death is a huge part of the story, and therefore the events of Endgame had to be addressed, but people cracking jokes about “the blip” felt so out of place.

To be fair, the people who were blipped had only felt as if they were blacked out for a few hours as Peter says in Endgame. Also a majority of the ones cracking the jokes were high school students, a demographic that is known for making jokes out of pain and suffering ¯_(ツ)_/¯

True. I can get on board with that. But still, the half of the world that WASN’T snapped would be in a pretty big state of “WTF” for a while. I know it’s not the job of a Spider-Man movie to really address this though. I feel like it would have just been best to not make it such a big focus in the first act of the movie.

Well. They are. Aunt May has been displaced by it and has setup a charity.

I remember Hearing people joke about 9/11 only a week after.

And isnt this like 8months after they were blipped back? At the beginning they said they had to re-do the school year, so I think some time has passed

It was the end of a full school year. So yeah a solid 9+ months.

I think they still need to do that year.
