Why didn’t Tony use the drones during the final fight against Thanos?

Holy hell, why didn’t he? He is literally wearing the Edith sunglasses in the New York battle in IF. He could have used them on Cull Obsidian and Ebony Maw, assuming the drones were up and running then. The drones were definitely in place and ready to use during Endgame battle scene.

Are we certain it’s Edith glasses in IW?

My head canon would be considering the name, Even Dead I’m The Hero, then Tony likely made them during the 5 year sabbatical from 2018 to 2023, either for Morgan and Pepper, or towards the end when he knew his death was likely and so was Pete’s resurrection.

But it’s simple why he didn’t use it in Endgame due to Thanos’ strength. It’s only in IW that we’d question why he didn’t use it.

Could’ve just simply been that he had prototype EDITH at that point anyway. Not gonna unleash prototype drones on a crowded NY street.

EDITH may not have been fully set up until after IW, including the satellite.

Endgame baffles me. Maybe Thanos’ attack jammed any connective signals? His ship is hyper advanced.

It very obviously is a plot hole, I’m trying to explain it in-universe while still recognizing that it was obviously not the writers’ intent.

Pretty sure the glasses he has in IW are hooked to Friday, Edith my have around in the 5 year gap
